Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026 · Written in plain language.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of KidPath (KidPath.ca). By creating an account or using KidPath, you agree to these terms. KidPath is a Canadian service, launching in Ontario first.
2. What KidPath is — and isn't
KidPath provides information and self-help navigation to help families of children on the autism spectrum understand funding, tax credits, school supports, documents and next steps. KidPath does NOT provide medical, legal, tax, or financial advice, does not determine eligibility, and does not guarantee funding. A qualified professional or government decision-maker makes those decisions.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be 18 or older, or the parent/legal guardian or authorized caregiver of the child whose information you enter.
4. Acceptable use
Please use KidPath only for your family's own navigation and organization. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, upload unlawful content, or rely on KidPath as a substitute for professional advice.
5. AI Family Navigator
The AI Family Navigator generates plain-language, guardrailed responses and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. It is for information and preparation only. Always confirm important decisions with a qualified professional or official government source.
6. Your content & documents
You retain ownership of the information and documents you provide. You grant KidPath permission to store and process them to operate the service. You can delete your content at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Plans & billing
KidPath offers a free Calm Start plan and a paid Family Path plan. Paid features are described in the app. You may change or cancel your plan at any time; changes take effect according to the plan terms shown at checkout.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
KidPath is provided 'as is' without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidPath is not liable for decisions made, or outcomes (including funding or eligibility results), based on information found in the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as KidPath evolves. We'll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
